1967 Corvette L68 427/400 - looking for original cam specs

Pulled engine to clean detail and replace all gaskets etc. As we inspected parts, cam did not look good. Engine otherwise solid. Where can I find original spec cam as this cam did not have a part number...

How do you know that the cam is even the original cam? If the cam is original, there should be cast-in numbers 3904364 between the lobes or stamped in numbers on the end. If neither are present, I'd expect it's some sort of aftermarket cam.

By the way, the L-68 camshaft is the same as the L-36 camshaft.

Ira, Yes it sounds like yours is not a original as Joe says.

Original specs can be found at gmheritage.com for any year. See link in the stickys at top of the main TDB page.

I recently acquired a Sealed Power L71 cam and lifters kit from Napa, CS165R. I believe the 427 hydraulic cam is their SEP CS636. Best to verify the application.
