1954 rear end bolts

Hi Guys In the new judging manual there is no mention of the 10 bolts that hold the rear end cover on A 54.Can anyone tell me what marks or letter for judging be on them.Thanks Bob W

the nuts on the front or the bolts on the rear cover ?
I can send a pic of the cover and OE bolts

The bolts on the rear cover Chris If you can send some pictures of both that would be appreciated.The book has nothing in it for them.Bob W

Bob,

I've seen three different markings on three different cars: "UR", "WB1C" and unmarked (smooth). One of the cars was a Duntov and it had a combination of head markings; which wouldn't be uncommon considering the production line process and various suppliers. I suspect there were on other marks too but I haven't seen them. Chevrolet wasn't concerned with the bolt head markings being consistent; the bolts just had to meet the size and strength specifications.
