My '57 is missing this part, I think.

Is it the percolation shut-off knob for the FI system?

I'm disappointed there's no buy it now. Guess I'll just bid high now and ask questions later.

I thought the percolation shut off looked like an ignition key.

I have never seen a part so painstakingly described !

I am wondering if it can be retro -fitted for use in a C-2 ?

Couple questions to our experts before I start bidding:
            1) Does this FI percolation shut-off knob typically use ported or manifold vacuum?
            2) When retrofitted to a big block, is it necessary to set the clock to daylight saving time?
            3) Will I be forced to incur the extremely high cost of converting from ethanol fuel to methane gas?

Jack, in answer to your questions: 1. It is connected directly to the vacuum windshield wipers. 2. Not if you connect your cell phone via the connector on the side of the clock as the cell will automatically set IF you have so set the phone. 3. No, methane was generously provided in the description by the seller. Steve

Only if you believe ethanol is the root of all your trouble.

Official temp here (Kamloops BC, Canada), the place the guys in Florida think is the frozen north, is 36C (97 for you guys stuck on the funkenheight scale) taken down by the lake at the airport. Everywhere else is 38C (100F) in the shade. Been hovering around there for about a month now.

Better look around Steve, I think you may be standing in the middle of a forest fire. Do you see any smoke?

Funny you should say that Ed. A couple of weeks ago we couldn't see across the valley for the smoke from the fires in the Whistler area, north of us and in Washington State.

I think the Washington State smoke was in the country illegally.

                        Steve & Ed,
Just to let you know, we here in MN have been getting the smoke from the Canadian wide fires for over a week now.
Jet stream blowing it on us. Cough, Cough, Cough!

                          Mike,
I'm from Winnipeg, been out here for about 9 years. All my family and wife's family are in Winnipeg. Been hearing the crying about the Saskatchewan smoke for a while now.

Take shelter in the smoke free patios
