My TV cable is all the way to the end. Does this cable have to be reajusted from time to time ?

Hello;
The Throttle Valve cable should have been set correctly when originally installed.
It is often thought of as some kind of a cure all. But the TV cable adjustment should not changed.
The position of the cable housing bracket and its relationship to the throttle itself is crucial.
Its main purpose is to apply the correct pressures inside the transmission when needed including shift point and downshift.

So what does the "T/V" in TV cable stand for? Something transmission I would guess.
