    Hi Eric,
Apart from the online C2 Registry, the only '63 survey that I'm aware of that was passed out was the L. Brooks listing from the late 1970's.
I'm not certain if '63 #14,396 was included in the Brooks data or not however I have compiled a '63 list and car #14,396 is recorded as being a Silver Blue/Blue 340hp 4spd Convertible with PB and a White soft top.
I'm not sure where or when I listed this car in my file but it is there!
My data is far from complete so it is not near ready to furnish copies of.

    Hope this helps!
BTW, If this is your '63 could you please tell me it's body number so that I can include it in it's entry?

    Syd

For informational purposes 14,396 was not included in the Larry Brooks survey.

Thanks for the replies. I found a copy of the old L Brooks pages, and it does not appear. In searching the archives, I found a post by Harry Sadlock referencing it in his private records. I'm going to look at the car tomorrow, and want to corroborate against as many previously known facts as possible.

        Thanks!

Ended up purchasing #14396 in Bowling Green, KY on Friday and driving it home (!) to Cincinnati. The car appears to have been originally a fuelie, but converted to a 340hp at some point in its life. Owner did not have much history prior to 2012, but the car possess all the following:
          • 3782870 block casting
          • Engine pad stamp: 3114396 F0425RF (unmistakable RF stamping)
          • '63 style radiator core support with air inlet
          • 3 bolt holes on drivers inner fender panel
          • 6500 rpm tach
          • 60 PSI oil pressure gauge
          • Did not measure oil pan yet
          • 4spd w/ Power Brakes but incorrect master cylinder and booster
          • Silver Blue / Dark Blue Int / White Top

          VIN: 30867S114396

          Trim Tag:
          I 1
          STYLE 63 867 6872 BODY

          TRIM 490K 912A PAINT

Will now be on look-out for FI unit, exhaust manifolds, and proper master cylinder.

reply to all of the above including Harry: Any copies or reference to these surveys would really be appreciated. My 63 VIN is 30837S115760 and I have not information from the delivery in WA state in June 1963 untill the Texas title in 1990. Any info or ideas would be great!!!!!

There is a Corvette Forum member, gold63, who has compiled a fairly extensive '63 database over the course of 15 years...its not available online but he does respond to queries about specific VINs:

C1 & C2 Corvettes - How many '63 roadsters & split window coupes left ? - Is there anybody that knows or has kept track of how many split widow coupes are still registered today. PLEASE NOTE: Since the interest in this subject has caused this thread to become a Sticky, I have added roadsters to the title in the...

You might have to join that forum to PM him or inquire via his long thread on the topic...
