"ML" is the code for radiator GM #3035856. This radiator was used on many 1976-79 Corvettes with heavy duty cooling.

The only radiator I can find with an "MF" code is one used during the 1980-81 period and of GM #3043390. However, this was not a Corvette radiator. It's very possible that the code "MF" was used earlier for a Corvette radiator but I have no information on that.

The PRODUCTION radiator for your application was supposed to be GM #3028081. It's possible this radiator used code "MF". However, I cannot confirm that. GM #3028081 was never available in SERVICE.

Apparently, the "ML" code was used prior to the 1976 model year for a completely different radiator. This is not unusual. The radiator broadcast codes are specific to a particular model year or range of model years. They are re-used and assigned to different radiators.

The GM #3027968 radiator is a PRODUCTION-only radiator; it was never available in SERVICE. That's why I had no record of the "ML" broadcast code being assigned to it.
