1963 1964 Ignition Switch Lamp Assembly

A friend is sending me this lamp assembly from his buddy's 1964 Corvette that needs some help. I haven't seen if reproduced.

I offered to replace the gray wire and install the correct connector. I don't have a photo of this part from my '63 in my files.

Would anyone have a moment to measure the gray wire length and the plastic connector housing type used and if male or female terminal? A picture would be ideal too.

I have old harness connectors and replacement terminals here so I can fabricate it.

For reference and future interest.....

The gray wire is part of the harness. There is no connector. Frank D sent me a picture of his from his coupe, and I found one on the Corvette Central site.

I repaired the socket terminal, reattached a new wire and it can now be spliced into the harness bundle as originally done.

Repair. Note the tab holding the plastic insulator in place. I opened the copper contact and soldered a new wire in place.
