Attaching metal to fiberglass

Hi, I need to attach a metal bracket to the fiberglass in my headlight buckets. Any thoughts on the "glue" I should use? Epoxy??? Thanks,Jerry

There is a 3M product designed for specifically what you want. Go to your paint supplier and ask for the 3M pamplet on adhesives.
It's a two part adhesive and you will need a gun that can be supplied by the paint supplier. There will be two mixing tips supplied with the 3M adhesive and you can purchase more in a pack of 5.

Ordinary polyester fiberglass adhesive bonds to clean metal. No need for epoxies.

The birdcage bonding strips that hold body panels are riveted to the birdcage, so if the joint is not visible you can use rivets.
