I would like to know the correct color for a 1965 corvette convertible which is Glen Green and a saddle interior. The color I do not know is where the dash pads connect to the car there is a ?panel which is riveted to the car. Is this panel body color or interior color?

I've been trying to understand where on the line this happend. If the dash was installed after the body shop where did this get painted? Should Glen Green car with a black (STD) interior be painted?

Re: 1965 corvette convertible color request
The masking and painting of the dash end tabs was done in Final Paint Repair, which was after Roll-Test and Water Test, and prior to the Final Trim Line, where the interior soft trim was installed. If the interior and exterior colors were the same, the tabs didn't get painted and the rivet heads showed as black oxide; if the colors were different, the tabs (and the rivets) got painted.- Top
