65 bb oil pressure copper line

Can anyone tell me if the copper wire that connects to the temperature gauge runs clockwise when it comes out of the firewall or counterclockwise

The temp sending unit has a copper wire attached to it. When it comes out of the firewall the wire is in a spring like formation. When your looking down at that spring like formation does it circle clockwise or counterclockwise?

The oil pressure line runs like you discribe. The wire for the temp sender comes out of the engine harnes by the wiper motor and runs along the valve cover and plugs into the sender

Rocco,

If you are talking about the oil pressure tubing between the block and the gauge here is a picture. I can't recall any "coiled" wire for the temp sending unit/
