I am starting to prepare my date coded restamped L71, for installation in the car , and I need to locate the entire intake system, as well as a set of exhaust manifolds. Is there somewhere that supplies new date coded carbs and manifolds, or do you have to source out used ones and have them rebuilt, I know the exhaust manifolds have the dates on the inside, so it probably doesn't matter to much if they are correct.

Re: 67 l71 intake and exhaust
Type Google in your search bar and enter anything you want, like "3894374 Manifold" and you will find many options. There is a good reproduction one available, Crane's sells them and others, but original ones can still be found by searching and waiting, try parts for sale here, or at Corvette Forum, and on eBay of course. Repro tripower carbs are now made and readily available, no dates, Crane's (and others) apparently will stamp them to appear like originals (but there are obvious tells). Corvette sites sometimes have them, and they are often on eBay. This place http://customrebuiltcarbs.com restores originals and they look great. Others also restore them, such as eBay seller ghostt search for his auctions. Search for 3660 and 3659 Holley and you can find many options. The you need to assemble linkage, air cleaner parts, flame arrestor and PCV parts and hoses, throttle arm, fuel lines - many of the usual vendors carry all of that stuff. Good luck!- Top

Re: 67 l71 intake and exhaust
Thanks Don, I did find Cranes on the web , and that seems like the way to go , especially there brand new date coded exhaust manifolds for $575.00, I'll start poking around the web, to see what I can find, I'll post a couple of pics, basically I need everything that is not there, as I plan on selling the 69 400 horse that is in there now as a complete unit, I will also post a couple of pictures of the 69 stamp pad as well as my replacement motor.- Top
