350's were introduced only in the 1967 Camaro SS. They were rated at 295 HP. Corvettes gained the 350 / 300 HP as part of the standard drivetrain in 1969.

For the Corvette. The Camaro discontinued the 327 at the end of December, 1968 (1969 model year), but the full size cars had it until the end of the 1969 model year.

Also remember that the service parts department continued to offer both large and small journal 327 crankshafts over the counter well into the 1980s and possibly 1990s.

1968 was the first year for large journal. Most small journal 327 cranks are forged steel. Most large journal 327 cranks are nodular cast iron. The exceptions: 1968 L-79 engines used in Corvettes and Chevelles and some 327 cid 1968 MD/HD trucks.

The 327 large journal cranks lived on in PRODUCTION after the 327 was discontinued as they were also used in the 307.
