    1969 BB radiator removal

Can the radiator and core support be pulled from below if the front cross member is removed first?

Never tried that, but the shape would indicate NO. I dont see why you would want or need to do that.

Getting ready to replace the front crossmember .... And just discovered a leak in the radiator ....2 birds with one stone?

In this case, I don't think you can "kill two birds with one stone". However, having the crossmember out may ease the radiator replacement effort.

Just remove the hood and take it out the top. No need to re-invent that wheel.

not 100% sure but I think the core support is not perfectly square (a little wider at top) so that would make slipping it down difficult.
Also - think the sway bar assembly would have to be completely removed and the front bumper horseshoe too.

basically - don't think so but who knows.. :-)

I would just take the hood off and take the radiator out from up top. it works. :-)

              Yup, that's how it is.
