What does the correct 1966 glove box light switch look like? I don't have the AIM with me so a part number would also help.

Re: 1966 Glove box light switch
Well I looked and maybe didn't hit the right search words because the only thread that showed a definite original was a 63 switch, and from what I can tell the 63 was different than the 64-67. I got home and the 66 AIM shows a part number of 3859328, but that doesn't show up on the search either.- Top

Re: 1966 Glove box light switch
I was having trouble with my 67 glove box switch so I bought a couple off Ebay taking the chance that they would be correct. The ones I bought and am using one is like the one in the thread below that is labeled part number 3859328, which also looked just like the one I removed. I found them by searching for Chevrolet Glove Box Light switch on Ebay. I got a replacement one from either Paragon or Corvette Central first, and it was a Lectric Limited product. That one looked like the third one in the picture in the below thread. It was a piece of junk!!!!
The 67 AIM list 3859328 as correct and 3870209 as optional
