Dear All, while the red one in Austin is still running with nobody having bid for four days, I always had a fallback car, which sits here in Germany and looks gorgeous. I have the scoring sheet from 08, but I am unable to upload it. the VIN is 1946735108497. I have looked at the car, but have no trim tag, engine pad or vin pictures. I have asked for them. My question is, does anybody know this car. The last U.S. owners were apparenty Stan and Kathy Clements in Idaho. I know that on paper this car is not as desirable, as the red one with A/C, but if this is real, it could be worth it. Thanks for any Input. Martin P.S. the car sity on Rally wheels put the owner has a set of Turbine wheels in the Garage. If somebody knows the car, does he know on which wheels it came?

VIN you listed is not a valid 1967 number, I suspect you meant 194677S108497. Only way to know what wheels came with the car is to identify that data in the documents, such as tank sticker, if available. If not, could be either. eBay auction for this car 1999 says it sold for 99K and came with the "original rally's" and was an original side pipe car, however no documentation was indicated. So to get further opinions, really need to see what docs, what the engine pad looks like, what the trim tag looks like etc- Top

Sorry you are right that was an "s". I will hopefully get the Pictures tomorrow. Kind of encouraging that it sold for 99K 15 years ago. Are you able to see that auction today? is there a Screen shot?- Top

Re: Goodwood Green 1967 427/400 Topflights from 91, 94,08
The Trim Tag data correlates in that 430 is green vinyl interior, paint is Glenwood Green, build date fits VIN etc. The ECL code (DP) fits in that the ECL for trim 430 includes A82 (headrests) and C07 (auxillary hardtop) but excludes A31 (power windows), A85 (shoulder belts) and M35 (powerglide transmission) - this data from Noland Adam's book vol 2. The "turbine wheels" are often called "bolt-on wheels" usually, as they are the carry over from the earlier year aluminum knock-off wheels but with the conversion to 5-bolt pattern and deletion of knock off style. If this car had that option, it would be listed on the Tank Sticker as N89 "15 Inch Wheel Eq." Now having said all of that, nothing reviewed confirms "that this car is original as is." Your question involves much more scrutiny and evaluation, such as professional opinions as to originality of the engine pad stampings, originality of the tank sticker etc. You will get opinions of all kinds on the various corvette forums but you may want to consider getting profession evaluation from a recognized authority. Just my opinion!!- Top

Even though the pad picture is not great, it does not show anything to create doubt as to its originality. Also the tank sticker looks like the real thing.- Top

Re: Goodwood Green 1967 427/400 Topflights from 91, 94,08
Good Morning, thank you all again. As this car ran through 3 NCRS topflight Awards, I am somewhat content that it is not fabricated. In any regard, I agree after what I have seen in such a short time looking for a car, you never know. I have one more, perhaps unfair question, but assuming it is still in the last topflight juding condition (it just made it with milage Bonus to 94,2 before that 92.8), for how much would such a car sell? Again, I know this is in the eye of the beholder, but I am somewhat at loss, as to what is a fair market price. The asking Price is a whooping 119.000 Euros which translates roughly 162.000USD, which I think we all agree is unreal even if I add shipping and 7% VAT. Martin- Top

Well I disagree, there is considerable information in the 78 page PDF file referenced in my earlier post in this thread above, and there is information in several opinions above including from Patrick Boyd who said "Even though the pad picture is not great, it does not show anything to create doubt as to its originality. Also the tank sticker looks like the real thing." Further, I have been very closely following L68 and L71 pricing this summer and 162K is not at all unusual if the car can be verified real and original, i.e. born-with engine etc. And there is enough info and opinion now I feel to warrant further scrutiny, i.e. Al Grenning opinion or similar- Top
