Can anyone tell me what GM part number 3932255 is? I think it is a T-10 rear seal but want to be sure. Thanks, Don H.

It is a extension oil seal asm. for a 3-speed M.T., listed in Gr. 4.318.

My 1973-1975 Pass.-Chevelle-Nova-Camaro Parts Catalog (Apr. 1975) lists GM #1386231 as the part number.
My 1976 Chev. Parts Catalog (Sept. 1975) lists GM # 3932255 for All 1976 models.
My 1977 Chev. Parts Catalog (Mar. 1977) lists GM # 1243402 for All 1976 models.
According to my GM Parts History Manual (Jan. 1976 to Dec. 1981) GM # 1243402 was replaced with GM # 3932255.

Seal GM #3932255 has many GM manual and automatic transmission extension housing applications. 1957-63 T-10 is among them. It's not the original seal used for pre-1968 applications but it is the SERVICE seal for those applications.

GM #3932255 was discontinued in October, 1996 and replaced by GM #8673526 which remains available to this very day.
