    67 blower motor connections

I am in the process of replacing the heater box because the last person to work on it over torqued the nuts and cracked the fiberglass. I am going to attempt to repair but that might be another thread. I currently have a replacement box. My concern is putting the blower motor back in the housing. The AIM is not real clear on where the ground is attached to the motor flange. Was there a specific point on the flange? I found in the AIM where the capacitor is placed but can't seem to find the location for the ground. Help!

Steve, There is a spot on the blower motor that has a hole that should have signs of a screw that looks to of had a screw threaded into it. generally speaking it should be facing about 2 to 3 o'clock.( hoping your blower is original)

        Gentlemen,
Thank you. That is precisely what I needed to know. The motor is original, the box is a replacement. I am going to attempt to fix my old one. Here are some pics of what I'm dealing with. Is it repairable? Any suggestions?

I would repair the original box from the back side by carefully grinding away enough material to lay in fiberglass cloth and resin.
At the same time figure out a way to hold the cracked areas back to the proper alignment.
Originally St Louis installed quite a bit if sealer to the seal area around the heater box which if duplicated will hide small cracks.

That should be an easy fix mine was a lot worst than yours. A little glass and resin and you should be fine. I used a spray type leak proof sealer and it worked great looks like it's original to me.

Steve just a note on the repro one from L.I. Corvette, I install one and did not like the quality and the holes did not line up with the studs correctly. FIX THE OLD BOX.
