Were 65-67 L79 exhaust head pipes swaged 2" to 2-1/2"?
IIRC the 64-65 L76 & L84 were as were the 70-72 LT1 and 73-74 L82....

OK C-3 mechanical guys. I am looking at this alternator on ebay. I am a little skeptical as to its authenticity. I know that these are often counter fit.... -

Rebuilding the differential from my 67. Took the housing to the shop to be degreased and once all of the crud was off I noticed an "AZ" stamped...
